The Tactic is similar in depth to a P2 while not too deep to hold, will definitely offer a bit more room to latch on to the rim comfortably. About Exo Plastic: Standard plastic, two different flexes: soft and hard. Exo plastic provides a great grip, especially the soft plastic. Most affordable Evolution line plastic. Wears gradually.
